BACKLINKS AND REAL ESTATE WEB DESIGN
Backlinks are not really a part of real estate Web design but a part of SEO real estate Web design and these days, most professionals want their Website to bring them business or what?s the point of having one? So, the search engines, especially Google, set guidelines or parameters for judging the real estate Web designs that are on the Internet. They use their own guidelines to help them decide where in their index a real estate Web design should be placed. Naturally you want your real estate Web design placed at the top of the list on page one and so it is wise for you to know as much as possible about how search engines think and operate as possible.
From the very beginning of the commercial Internet, content was an important factor and a real estate Web designed with good content would wend itself to the first page. When a lot of people caught on to this, the search engines found there were too many excellent real estate Web designs and they couldn?t give them all top placement so they came up with additional criteria. At some point, real estate Web designers had to think beyond the Website itself and attend to what is known as external SEO and the idea of link sharing or backlinking was born.
When you link to another real estate Web design you have given them a backlink. When they link to you, you have received a backlink. Not all backlinks are created equal. A backlink from a highly ranked Real Estate Web designed for top placement is worth more than a link from a real estate Web designed poorly and without any significant placement on the search engines. Backlinks from totally unrelated business are not worth as much as a backlink from a site that is in your field. Backlinks from directories are worth less than backlinks from individual real estate Web designs.
